| LOB – the name stands for a family company rich in tradition, which has now already reached the third generation. In the first years after its founding by Wilhelm Lob, the company was mainly active in the fields of general metalworking and steel constructions. Over the years the range has expanded continuously. In 1948 LOB was joint founder of the German Boiler Association, and since then has been manufactured heat exchangers and boilers. In the mid-fifties storage tanks were added, and since the sixties the company has also built vehicle tanks for liquids and dusty products. A parallel development has been the growth of the manufacture of chemical equipment into the main sphere of activity.
Currently LOB is a medium-sized company, with many years of experience in the use of the latest production technology and a broad range of innovative products. Consequently LOB has become firmly established on the market for equipment and tanks, and supplies companies of repute in the chemical, consumer goods and food industries, in process plant construction and mechanical manufacturing, in steel production and forging, including government organisations. |
